Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer(Kubernetes Admin)

Location: Chennai/Coimbatore/Pune

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of DevSecOps experience with focus on FluxCD
  • Certified Kubernetes Administration
  • Experience in AWS EKS Administration
  • Knowledge on Unix/Linux systems including scripting and system administration
  • Hands on experience in setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines preferably using GitLab CI

Responsibilities

  • Good Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps
  • Expertise in FluxCD, leveraging it for continuous delivery and deployment improvements
  • Expertise in Continuous Integration tool, creating pipelines and templates and pipeline optimization preferably in GitLab CI
  • Good Experience in Docker, Jfrog Artifactory
  • Proficient in containerization platforms
  • Hands on experience in AWS services such as EC2, AMI Patching, Aurora, Lambda, ELB, S3, etc
  • Proficient in managing AWS EKS clusters
  • Advanced skills in Kubernetes administration
  • Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as code
  • Implement best practices in DevSecOps
  • knowledge in python scripting

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to work with Application teams and developers to facilitate better coordination amongst operations, development and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes

Do

  1. Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications
    1. Plan and Execute the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain ? from planning, coding and building, testing, staging, release, configuration and monitoring
    2. Manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code
    3. On-board an application on the DevOps tool and configure it as per the clients need
    4. Create user access workflows and provide user access as per the defined process
    5. Build and engineer the DevOps tool as per the customization suggested by the client
    6. Collaborate with development staff to tackle the coding and scripting needed to connect elements of the code that are required to run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure
    7. Leverage and use tools to automate testing & deployment in a Dev-Ops environment


  1. Provide customer support/ service on the DevOps tools
    1. Timely support internal & external customers on multiple platforms
    2. Resolution of the tickets raised on these tools to be addressed & resolved within a specified TAT
    3. Ensure adequate resolution with customer satisfaction
    4. Follow escalation matrix/ process as soon as a resolution gets complicated or isn't resolved
    5. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical/ repeatable issues
