Role-Data center technician

Location-Redmond Washington USA

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Performs computer hardware and software installations, maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment.
  • Provides Level 1/2 technical support while configuring PCs for users.
  • Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support as needed. This includes service that exceeds response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issue that could impact customer satisfaction.
  • Data Center,rack and stack experience required.
  • Processes timely and accurate information to ensure compliance with vendor warranty requirements.
  • Adheres to client policies and procedures while maintaining the integrity of the customer's data.
  • Coordinates across multiple departments/vendors to provide support.
  • Interacts with the customer when responding to technical questions or requests for information.
  • Maintains regular attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

Must have a College degree in a related field ( STEM).

Good to have experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suites, and basic knowledge in desktop troubleshooting is a plus.

"Expected annual pay for this role ranges from [$45,000] to [$55,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options."
