The role of Business Data Analyst is pivotal, focusing on the cleansing, analysis, and interpretation of data provided by Business Partners. This position entails gathering data from Business Partners to support comprehension, clarification, and integration into WHPS systems. We seek a candidate with robust analytical capabilities, adept at identifying errors and delivering insightful analyses to the management team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Serve as a key liaison between Carrier leadership and the conversion project team, facilitating communication and coordination throughout planning, execution, and post-implementation phases.

• Take ownership of identified risks and proactively monitor potential impacts within the data conversion plan.

• Engage in collaborative implementation/discovery meetings with Carriers to outline project plans, communication strategies, processes, and provide necessary training.

• Lead requirements gathering, design sessions, and technical reviews with Carriers to address data conversion requirements.

• Conduct comprehensive mock runs and oversee production data conversion processes.

• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.

• Perform detailed data analysis on processed files, identifying and reporting data issues to Carriers for resolution during mock runs and production cutover.

• Track defects throughout the conversion process.

• Deliver conversion metrics to relevant stakeholders.

• Demonstrate proficiency in EDI 834 standards.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Enrollment/Billing processing.

• Familiarity with XML file structures.

• Strong SQL skills.

• Capacity to analyze large datasets effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting data conversion projects.

• Systematic and logical problem-solving abilities with strong analytical skills.

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including expert-level formula writing (e.g., if/then statements, vlookups, sumif(s), countif(s), etc.).

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Adaptability to changing priorities and demands.

• Critical thinking skills for logical problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
