Consulting Partner - Manhattan Program & Practice Lead

The position is to build and develop a global Manhattan Practice. In addition, will define and lead consulting engagements - in the supply chain domain and play an industry expert role in major transformation programs. The position will target both CPG and retail clients in Wipro's Consumer Domain. The specific focus is to grow the Manhattan Associates suite of Supply Chain Solutions at Wipro and their current and prospective customers. The role holder will enable the opening of new engagements, execute programs, drive the adoption of innovative solutions and build / contribute to the overall supply chain domain practice.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities will include:
- Consulting Strategy, growth and execution: Focus on growing Consulting revenues and winning strategic, higher margin projects. Help in creating new business opportunities & new business wins (pipeline and order book). Lead delivery of process and domain consulting engagements across Manhattan technology implementations and overall supply chain domains - including, Warehousing, Transportation, Logistics, Network planning, demand planning, order management, inventory management and other SCM areas
- Business Growth: The role holder is expected to shape, lead & drive transformation engagements by working closely with CXOs, the consulting / business leaders and internal Wipro product/practice/technology teams. The individual is also expected to lead consulting workshops to craft future state functional and solution roadmaps.
- Solutions: Support the identification and definition of differentiated Manhattan Suite of services and solutions for various industry process areas within the retail & CPG sectors.
- Thought Leadership: Be a contributor to Wipro's voice in the market and move towards being recognized as a thought leader in industry forums, partner events and customer interlocks. Publish and present on a range of forward-looking topics around various supply chain business functions, across the consumer sectors.
- Partnerships: Nurture ecosystem partnerships in key focus areas based on product evaluation/due diligence with the objective of building knowledge and networks e.g. trade bodies, practitioner forums, industry networks etc.
Capabilities needed

- Demand Shaping: Consultative influencing and proactive shaping of consulting opportunities. Driving the design, sales and delivery of state-of-the-art supply chain and Consulting solutions
- Client transformation mindset: Elevating client pitches and delivery from methodologies and tools, to justified client business value
- Network Building: Demonstrable experience in building your own network of CxO or senior level client relationships in Retail and/or Consumer Products and/or Transportation and logistics industries, building and nurturing those client relationships.
- Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills: Ability to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges
- Personal Drive: Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to win
- Leadership & Interpersonal skills: Ability to lead and shape client opportunities, working with diverse Wipro and client teams. Build relationships with clients and partners, motivate internal teams and achieve results
- Thought Leadership: Experience inengaging with industry leaders & analysts, and evidence of published POVs is an extra asset
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 15 years' experience, preferably across Retail, Distribution and Consumer goods companies - with the past 5 years managing major programs or around supply chain and the Manhattan Suite of products.
- Exposure to tier-1 clients in the consumer sector industries. Deep sector expertise in two or more Retail sectors (e.g., Grocery, Fashion, Department Stores) and/or CPG sectors (e.g., Food & Beverages, Apparel & Fashion, Health & Personal Care and Agribusiness) and/or Transportation and Logistics sectors (e.g., Freight, Parcel Logistics, Public Transportation, Postal services). Exposure across the industries will be an advantage.
- Functional expertise, based on recent client implementations or solution evaluations in at least four of the following areas: Logistics supply chain, Transportation management, Warehouse Management, Demand Planning, Network planning, Order management
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $190,000 to $265,000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
