As a Commercial Director, you will play a vital role in steering Designit London toward its financial objectives by developing and executing market strategies and leading business development.

As a Commercial Director, you will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the region's long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate with the business development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic negotiations and closing of high-value deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform and adjust business strategies.
  • Report regularly to senior management, providing insights and strategic recommendations on commercial performance.

Your tasks will include:

  • Working with and mentoring commercial teams, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
  • Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to uncover new opportunities and align them with customer needs.
  • Developing and executing sales and marketing plans to expand market share and drive business growth.
  • Building relationships with key clients and industry leaders to establish long-term partnerships.
  • Overseeing pricing strategies and financial forecasting to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (finance, business development, operations) to align strategies and achieve commercial goals.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar commercial or business development role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, and business development.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results.
  • High level of financial acumen, including experience in pipeline management and sales forecasting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
