Job Description: Cloud Security Pre-Sales Architect

Position Overview:

This role demands a combination of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and client-facing capabilities to deliver cloud security solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.

As a Cloud Security Pre-Sales Architect, you will play a critical role designing right fit solutions meeting customer requirement and present them to customer along with showcasing the value addition. You will work closely with customers, CRS sales teams, CRS delivery teams, hyperscalar business units and other GBLs (FSC, WDC etc), strategic partners to develop innovative cloud solutions that address customer needs and requirements. Your technical expertise, strong communication skills, and deep understanding of Public Cloud security services, multi cloud security solutions will enable you to effectively articulate and demonstrate the value of cloud security to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to RFXs and Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges. Design and architect custom solutions using Public Cloud security services that align with customer needs and promote successful adoption. It may involve cloud native security controls as well as third party security controls. Should be conversant with preparing initial questionnaire, define the scope, volume, coverage of customer requirement, right size the effort, protect Wipro interest with appropriate assumption, dependency, RACI matrix etc.

Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to educate and inspire customers about the capabilities of public cloud security. Articulate the value proposition and unique features of Cloud security to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives.

Sales Enablement: Conduct GTM/Sales enablement sessions for sales team, delivery leadership to position comprehensive security solutions effectively.

Technical Consultation/Assessment:

  • Conduct security reviews/assessments to identify gaps in security architecture and tools, provide expert guidance and advice to customers on best practices, architectural design, and security services on cloud including risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of security controls to ensure compliance with organizational security policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
  • Advise on cloud migration strategies, security and compliance requirements, and scalability considerations.

Proactive customer engagements: Collaborate with sales team as well as strategic partners in shaping up proactive deals.

Industry and Market Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest trends, advancements, and competitive landscape in the cloud security industry. Continuously expand your knowledge of Cloud products and security services to ensure you are a trusted advisor to customers.

Thoughleadership: Show thoughtleadership in Cloud security in terms of blogs, white papers, presenting at conferences etc.

Delivery: Should be capable of and willing to get into hands on delivery engagements to meet PU billing requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud security Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI ) products and services and CNAPP solutions (Palo Prisma cloud, Wiz, Checkpoint cloudguard, Crowdstrike Falcon etc)
  • Solid understanding of cloud security concepts, architectures, and best practices such as NIST standard, Hyperscalar best practices., Zero Trust, regulatory compliances
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions.
