The role as a Managing Consultant will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.

This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas;

  • Transformation themes for Customer Experience and Dealer Operations in Automotive
  • Consulting capabilities across CIO Advisory & , Digital Transformation

Our Managing Consultant is expected to build D-level relationships, and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Growth: Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro's client positioning
  • Relationships: As a Managing Consultant you bring deep expertise and good industry connections to develop the consulting and advisory business
  • Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within designated strategic clients
  • Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.
  • Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro's mindshare

Skills and Qualifications

Key Expectations:

  • 12+ Years of Experience in the Automotive industry focused in Sales & Marketing, Dealer Operations. Customer Experience with Automotive OEMs
  • Experience in IT industry or in IT side of Auto OEM business is must.
  • Strong Automotive domain expertise and business process experience in at least 1-2 of the areas:
    • Sales & Marketing, CRM, Dealer Management and Operations, Customer Experience


  • Hands on experience on Technology Platforms like Pega/Salesforce/SAP. Knowledge on Legacy Modernization is added advantage.
  • Ability responsible for preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations in compliance with Automotive Industry standards, policies and methodologies.
  • Gather and synthesize functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy.
  • Execute gap analyses between business requirements and best practices Develop business cases, process and business test strategy, case, and execution.
  • Conduct workshop and interview /ask questions to clarify and document requirements for the Business process.
  • Create impactful presentations, documents and supporting material to enable both technical and business team to be aligned on the requirements and deliverables.
  • Experience on Agile based implementation is mandatory.
  • Excellence in strategic and analytical problem solving - Quantitative, fact-based approach to team-based problem solving and strategic approach to addressing issues and offering solutions.
  • Must understand and be able to apply current market trends and prevalent technologies to help provide clients with potential solutions to address their business challenges.
  • Ability to independently manage client relationships & drive growth

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
