Position: Asst. Manager EHS - Facility Management Group
Reporting to: EHS Head, India
Loaction: Hyderabad
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Asst. Manager-EHS is responsible for the implementation of Health & Safety practices, policies, and procedures across Pan India locations. The role will report to the EHS Head, India, and work in close coordination with the Location heads of respective locations and Service Provider EHS SPOCs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote and maintain a positive EHS culture.
1. Service Provider & Sub-vendor Performance monitoring/Scoring:
- Review month on month Performance monitoring of all SLA/KPI
- Guide location lead to carry out month on month performance monitoring as per checklist
- Get concurrence from Location lead/Head inputs before closing the location EHS performance rating.

2. EHS audits (internal, customer, vendor) - plan and execution through Servie Provider
Customer Audits:
- Extend support and guidance to Service Provider & Sub vendor EHS manager & EHS Spocs in Customer audits related to EHS.
- Review customer audit finding Root cause analysis and CA
- Review Tracker on closure of customer audit findings.
- Coordination with customer if any EHS audits at the location
Vendor Audits - (Sub Vendor Audits):
- Review Biannually audit plan and carry out audit of all key vendors Involved in Waste handling ( Dry/wet waste, Hazardous waste and E waste vendors)
EHS Internal Audits:
- Review Biannually EHS Internal audit plan and list of certified internal auditors
- Guide Service Provider in Performing Internal audit at all ISO14K & ISO45K
- Review quality of internal audit findings, Root cause analysis & CA
- Review Tracking of audit finding closure
3. EHS Trainings - plan and execution thruogh Service Provider:
- Release yearly training calendar.
- Review monthly training Plan and training conducted by EHS Manager/SPOC
- Track Training coverage month on month -plan vs actual
4. Incident / hazard trends & CAPA
- Review with Service Provider EHS Manager on reporting all Incidents.
- Guide and review all minor and major Incident root cause/ investigation analysis.
- Review closure status of all reported incidents
5. Govern location EHS reviews & committee meetings:
- Ensure quarterly location review meetings & safety committee meetings conducted at all ISO14K & ISO45K certified locations.
- Guide Service Provider EHS Manager to track and closure of action points.
- Guide and ensure EHS Spocs to carry out safety committee meetings and get employee feedback on safety.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum experience with 5+ years in EHS audit in IT industry
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) OR Lead auditor in ISO 14001 AND ISO 45001.
