Blackstone Credit, formerly known as GSO Capital Partners (GSO) is an American hedge fund and the credit investment arm of The Blackstone Group. Blackstone Credit is one of the largest credit-oriented alternative asset managers in the world and a major participant in the leveraged finance marketplace. The firm invests across a variety of credit-oriented strategies and products including collateralized loan obligation vehicles investing in secured loans, hedge funds focused on special situations investments, mezzanine debt funds and private equity funds focused on rescue financing.

Process Overview Trade Support

Trade Support Team is responsible for Bookings, Confirmation & Settlement of Bonds and Term Loans Products. Team is responsible for multiple activities for Middle office and Back-office operations.

Team support settlement Activities for DTC, FED, Euroclear, CEDEL Market, ClearPar/VTS for Term Loan.

Trade Support closely work with Data Governance and Asset Servicing Team.

Also Responsible Post settlements activities such as Failed Trades and Claims Management, Also ensuring Timely matching of unconfirmed Trades from Previous business day.

Job Description

Candidate should have good knowledge of Syndicated Term Loans (LMA and LSTA markets)

Candidate should have knowledge of Loans Settlements platform such as ClearPar, VTS and Loans Platform.

Understanding of Paydowns, PIK, DC/COC, Assignment Fee, Consent Fee, Ticking Fee etc.

Understanding various types of Loans such as DDTL, TL, Revolver etc.

Understanding of Settlement Date Co-ordination (SDC).

Understanding of Payment confirmations and SWIFT messages from Trustee and Counterparties.

Good understanding of Investment Banking and Trade Life Cycle.

Good verbal and writing communication skills.

This role is primarily responsible for managing end to end trade Support activities e.g. Trade Bookings/Confirmation/Settlements activities for DTC/ Euroclear/Fed and CEDEL Market.

Ensuring all Trades are booked on time in Order Management System, Confirming all Trades with CPTY

On T+0, on VD+2 ensure all trades are pre-matched and settled on good value date.

Responsible for working on Term Loan Settlement process using various tools e.g., ClearPar, Geneva.

Resolving daily issues and challenges come across in Trade Support Process.

Requirements

• Education - B.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Certifications If Any - NCFM added advantage
• Experience Range- MT- Fresher, Analyst - 2-5 Yrs, Analyst- 5-8 Yrs

Mandatory skills -

• Understanding of Investment Banking and financial products e.g. Bonds, equity, Term Loan etc.
• Sound understanding of Fixed Income Products, Equities. MM and Derivatives Products. FX, OTC trade processing background with risks and controls surrounding this function.
• Good understanding of trade life cycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail,
• Ability to multitask, prioritize
• liaison with Stakeholders, Counterparties, Custodian, Front Office and trading desk,
• Experience / working knowledge of Trade support Activities for Fixed income market.
• Escalation of critical risks & non-compliance with policies, standards, and limits

Work Timings

• US/EMEA - Should be flexible
• Process Timings: 12:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST
• Note : - Candidate should be flexible to work in Night shift, Night shift is core requirement.
