Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with experience in building and deploying modern web applications. In this role, you will work across both front-end and back-end systems to create seamless and robust applications using our tech stack, which includes Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Firebase, React.js, Chart.js, and Cloud Run. As a key member of the team, you'll be involved in mentoring junior developers and collaborating with them on various projects, as well as contributing to project management and tracking in Jira. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly collaborative, and well-versed in both client-side and server-side technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and other front-end technologies.
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs on the server side to support data-driven features.
  • Integrate Firebase services (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions, etc.) to create scalable and secure applications.
  • Utilize Chart.js to build interactive and responsive data visualizations.
  • Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing Cloud Run for serverless deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers by conducting code reviews, offering guidance, and helping them develop their technical skills.
  • Track and manage tasks, bugs, and project milestones using Jira, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code, following best practices in software development.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, including load times, memory usage, and responsiveness.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for data storage, access, and user authentication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and front-end frameworks, specifically js.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Firebase, including services like Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Authentication.
  • Familiarity with js or other data visualization libraries.
  • Experience deploying and managing serverless applications on Cloud Run or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools.

Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), js, and the ability to work with modern JavaScript build tools.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs and how to consume and create them.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative platforms such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with frontend state management (e.g., Context API, Redux).
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with serverless architectures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, managing tasks effectively in Jira to meet project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Familiarity with other Google Cloud services such as BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
  • Exposure to UI/UX principles and working closely with design teams.
  • Experience with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including js.
