ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY              
As a member of the Edge Product Management team, you will aggregate input from external customers, sales, market research, fellow product managers, partners, etc., and define what will transform mission-critical edge computing from an operating system and hardware enablement perspective.       
You will take over some existing projects and roadmap elements and collaborate with other product managers on the team who own other parts of our commercial Linux offering.           
You will write requirements, justify investments, prioritize the backlog, own your roadmap, do market research, analyze the competition, collaborate with the sales teams on key deals, review defects, engage with extended teams, and evangelize our stacks both internally and externally.       
You will work in close partnership with experienced Engineering and Product Management teams.               
        
ABOUT YOU          
Requirements & Qualifications               
  • You are a Product Manager passionate about software and have an affinity for open-source software, Linux, and associated tools and technologies.        
  • 5+ years managing the entire Linux product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools to ensure efficient and iterative product development
  • Demonstrated application of business rationalization against a technical product.
  • Experience writing requirements for engineering.
  • Good understanding of security, containerization, and orchestration concepts.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with excellent written and oral communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to move easily between product, services, marketing, strategy, and technical discussions.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and constructs (containers, universal base images, Kubernetes) is strongly desired.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, MBA a plus. Bachelor’s degree with suitable experience.
  • Experience with Yocto is a plus.
        
While this role is external, minimal travel is required (5%)

Compensation            
The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $141,700 to $191,260 plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $166,600  to $224,980 plus a bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, and 12 paid holidays.
