ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
 
We are actively seeking an exceptional senior marketer with an entrepreneurial mindset to enhance awareness of Wind River’s software and tools across various industries and drive the acceleration of our market growth. Working closely with the local sales team, you will develop high-impact marketing programs that include thought leadership, pr, events, and digital marketing.  You will set the bar for operational excellence and measurement discipline. ABOUT YOU
 
Key Accountabilities & Expectations
 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive regional channel programs to drive demand, ensuring sales and partners are equipped with effective marketing campaigns and knowledge across Wind River’s target industries.
  • Collaborate closely with local and global teams to deliver compelling content tailored to the specific needs of Chinese customers and partners.
  • Set, analyze, and monitor critical regional marketing KPIs, utilizing tools like Baidu Analytics, Salesforce.com, and Marketo to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Responsible for lead funnel optimization, campaign execution, and follow-up, including:
    • Campaign scoping, goals, account prioritization
    • Campaign and content selection and localization
    • Sales training on the campaigns
    • Pipeline feeding and monitoring
    • Campaign performance evaluation
  • Communicate all campaign plans, program results, activities, and feedback internally through regular communication and follow-up. Maintain a regional scorecard for marketing activities and their influence on pipeline. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, marketing staff, and vendors. 
  • Define budget needs, manage media buys, and work within that budget. 
  • Determine and execute the event strategy for China, reusing content and materials as much as possible from corporate and product/ industry marketing.
  • Define and fully own the China marketing strategy by adapting global direction, showcasing thought leadership, and collaborating closely with the regional China sales team.
  • Drive and maintain Wind River China's online presence, overseeing local social media presence, website optimization, SEO, and the online customer journey.
  • Implement multi-channel digital strategies to convert offline event awareness into demand.
  • Lead China PR, brand positioning, and awareness initiatives to drive Wind River’s position within target industries. Create and maintain an editorial calendar for social and PR to drive awareness of Wind River’s local activities and successes.
 
Qualifications
 
  • 12+ years of experience in regional marketing for a global B2B product company
  • Experience across a wide range of marketing disciplines, including content development, brand, channel marketing strategies, demand generation
  • Excellent team player
  • Experience working in a regional team as part of a global organization and collaborating across geographies.
  • Collaborative in approach, empathetic in nature, and steadfast in intention.
  • Appetite for a fast-paced environment and desire to constantly reassess and optimize.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, a keen visual sense, attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust quickly to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives. Ability to simplify is key!
  • Excellent Chinese and English language skills,
  • Experience using Martech tools like Baidu Analytics, WeChat, Salesforce/CRM and Marketo
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and issues and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
  • Results-driven and willing to go the extra mile to achieve targets
