About the Team/Role

The Systems Specialist is responsible for analysis, configuration, and testing of client benefit plans on the My Benefit Express™ web platform. This position works closely with client service teams, clients, and external partners as a technical resource to implement and maintain system functionality including data integration between systems.

• Assists the manager in all elements of design, documentation, testing, project plan and implementation / conversion for enhancements and new modules

• Configure client sites, including benefit plan rules, details, prices, text, and documents

• Data import design and implementation • Data analysis & audit (often from various sources)

• Coordinate with EDI team, insurance carriers, TPAs, and payroll/HRIS systems the integration and testing of data import / export updates (standard and proprietary)

• Design, implement and produce reports providing summary and audit details

• Documentation of client specific set-up and processes

• Training / transitioning the process to the client teams

• Communicate and interface with management and clients, professionally and accurately

• Integrate My Benefit Express™ and client systems, including data migration and assessing system compatibility

• Ability to constantly evolve current integration strategy to ensure efficiency

• Ability to successfully meet deadlines

• Strong customer service orientation

Competencies:

Communication: Ability to analyze client requirements and documents as they relate to the position as well as the ability to speak / listen clearly and effectively to stakeholders at multiple levels both inside and outside of the company. Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to provide detailed internal and external communications to successfully document instructions and process.

Critical Thinking: Ability to understand cause and effect, solve practical problems, and apply best practice methods and procedures. Must be capable of critical thinking, ability to think strategically before, during, and after a solution is deployed to production. Ability to translate broad goals into personal action plans and timelines. Application of creative problem-solving skills should be utilized for all tasks.

Computer: Experience in MS Office Suite software, including advanced Excel skills especially in the use of formulas such as VLOOKUPs. Ability to gather and analyze data requirements. Familiarity with key web technologies as used by Benefit Express.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $53,000.00 - $70,000.00
