About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Finance Analyst (Executive Director) to be part of the Technology Finance Central Vendor Management team. As part of this team, you will support and lead the processes associated with the management of third party spend focused on using the data to help drive Technology business decisions. This includes supporting the execution of contracts, forecasting and budgeting of the spend, and making sure commitments are strategically aligned with organizational strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Create processes related to financial research and reporting of Third Party spend in support of the Technology business through collaboration with peers, colleagues, and managers.
  • Create, track and report on key metrics, as well as other financial analysis related to business performance, operating statistics and strategic reviews. Leverage this data to drive accountability across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities and create programs to implement the initiatives.
  • Research complex financial data in support of management decision-making.
  • Lead variance analysis process for Third Party spend related to actuals, forecast, and budget.
  • Develop and present executive level reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standards through advanced PowerPoint presentations.
  • Partner across the Technology and Finance organization to drive change and significant transformation. Present necessary information to help influence and ensure buy-in from key strategic partners.
Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in forecasting, accounting, analytics within banking/financial services industry with specific focus on third party spend
  • Experience with third party tools, TFT, VRM, Ariba.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with senior business leaders
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in using and manipulating large amounts of data including the ability to build reporting within tools, i.e., PowerBI and Alteryx
  • Operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Assess stakeholder needs and build effective relationships.
