About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Transformation and Products Initiative Lead to join the Human Resources (HR) Transformation & Products team. This role will support the HR Transformation & Products Chief of Staff team through direct support of senior executive initiatives related to operating efficiency, risk & regulatory related efforts, and assisting with ongoing transformation activities for HR. This role will have high visibility, and responsibility to assist HR Transformation & Products leadership in strategic business decisions. This role will also include Business support activities such as (but not limited to): Senior leadership presentations, strategic planning, financial management and budgets, broad email communication, leadership support and initiative consultation.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the chief of staff teams and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Act as an advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management
  • The ideal candidate will have proven extensive ability in taking strategy through to execution, a strong ability to understand technical information while also being able to communicate that information in a non-technical way both in written and verbal forms
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5 years or more experience in developing and implementing new business strategies
  • Experience within Human Resources strategy and/or product management experience.
  • Experience partnering with senior management and leaders to influence and collaborate on complex programs, initiatives, and problem resolution.
  • Experience driving business priorities while managing risk and compliance.
  • Experience leading & delivering operational excellence, regulatory, and risk initiatives.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide programs or enterprise function initiatives.
  • Project management skills - ability to drive & lead meetings independently, create and execute project plans, proactively manage risks/issues, maintain compliance with company project management processes
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing change
  • 2+ years of experience leading large-scale initiatives across multiple organization
  • Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
  • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change in alignment with organizational goals and client objectives
  • Experience with Human Resources processes and/or tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone, Varicent, etc.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while managing tactical and strategic deliverables to meet timelines.
  • Experience in change management/transformation strategies and plans
  • Experience requiring strong relationship-building skills with ability to engage and influence communications towards achieving common business goals.
Job Expectations:
  • Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity (3 or more days in the office and up to 2 days remotely per week) at one of the posted locations.
  • Position location: Charlotte, NC (CIC) and Mpls, MN
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
