About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant to join the Electronic Wire Services Production Support Team within Chief Operating Officer (COO) Shared Services.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support for routine technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services
  • Use diagnostic tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore network, hardware, software service or data to systems and escalate as appropriate to meet established service level agreements
  • Resolve more complex issues and initiatives related to systems, tools, and applications used by the business or functional areas
  • Assist with routine migrations from development to production, upgrades or installations. Coordinate production support and maintenance of large-scale business applications. Coordinate troubleshooting of network, hardware, software issues and resolutions with users, vendors, and internal service groups
  • Assist with maintenance and updating of procedural documentation
  • Support and maintain software and license links; Validate and support Architecture Lifecycle/Scope for managed products as needed
  • Participate and support the Operational Readiness test with wire transfer system and Analyst Team, handle user access requests
  • Assist with inquiries concerning Wire Transfer Operations and their functions

  • 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of wire transfer processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: troubleshooting technology issues with software applications
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT processes and technologies
  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to identify and evaluate exposures/potential risks within an operating structure
  • Ability to troubleshoot common computer software problems
  • Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
  • Ability to mentor and train less-senior staff
  • Customer service skills
  • Experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work on-site at one of the work locations
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11am - 8pm ET, however, hours may change based on business need
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
  • Holiday or weekend hours and off-shift hours may be required with short notice
