About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Senior Manager to join the Technology Finance team within Corporate Finance. This individual will lead the agile teams that manage critical systems, data environments and tools from a business configuration and end-user experience standpoint. This role will partner closely with the product delivery lead and other executive sponsors across the senior leadership team.

We are seeking a candidate that has a unique skill set that can pivot between systems aptitude, data analysis, reporting and robust staff management. Prior experience managing finance business management systems and high performing teams is critical. The Technology Finance team is accountable to manage a very large expense portfolio for the central Technology group in Wells Fargo. To do this effectively, there are unique systems, processes and data attribution required to support the firm in addition to the standard corporate tools.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage the day-to-day business support and delivery of multiple systems that are leveraged within Technology Finance, specific to forecasting, budgeting, 3rd party spend, investments, etc.
  • Work hand in hand with a team of experienced analysts to ensure objectives and outcomes are met. Lead the team to greatness through the strategic delivery of thoughtful solutions.
  • Lead with a risk & control mindset, identify, and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and execute on systems and data strategy in line with Corporate standards
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leaders.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Systems
  • Prior experience supporting financial management through business configuration at scale in a large institution. Specifically, SaaS based tools such as Apptio, Workday Financials, ServiceNow Financials, IBM Planning
  • 3+ years of people management with experience managing agile work teams in a distributed team environment.
  • Prior experience with large data sets through modern analytical technologies (Python, Alteryx, etc.)
  • Prior experience developing a multi-year strategic system roadmap
  • Ability to pivot between business centric and technology centric discussions with Finance and CIO teams
