Required Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively both internally and externally.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of test automation methodologies and frameworks across Engineering practices, IT infrastructures, platforms, tools, and technologies.
  • Experienced in quality engineering practices like Unit testing, TDD, Code review, Secure coding practices, Code Quality, Code Coverage, CI/CD.
  • Experience into test automation with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, WebDriver.IO
  • Deep understanding of Behavior Driven Development methodology.
  • Strong test automation methodology knowledge with tools and one or more general purpose programming languages like JAVA, .NET and JavaScript.
  • Continuously research and adopt new automation tools, techniques, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of software quality by participating in code reviews, design discussions, and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Communicate test results and status to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps methodologies, tools like Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, SonarQube, CheckMarx, uDeploy and cloud platforms like GCP, PCF and Azure.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management.

The Test Automation Engineering Manager will drive the test automation engineering strategy, implementation, execution, and ongoing maturity for the Auto line of business (LOB). They will be the evangelist of a Quality Engineering Culture. This position will be expected to have deep software engineering and dev-ops expertise with hands-on coding and automation ability. The expectation also is that they learn/understand the technology landscape of the LOB and enterprise.

  • Banking domain knowledge.
  • Ability to influence adoption of leading quality engineering practices and emerging test automation technologies/products.
  • Extensive technical skills and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of enterprise quality engineering transformation journey.
  • Prior experience implementing test automation solutions in a dynamic, complex, and scaled environment.
