The Senior Treasury Analyst will be a member of the Banking & Investment Portfolio Liquidity Team within Liquidity Management, a division of Corporate Treasury within Wells Fargo Corporate Finance. Liquidity Management is responsible for planning, analysis, and monitoring of enterprise-wide liquidity, including identifying potential risks and optimization opportunities.

This position provides a unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of Wells Fargo's balance sheet and various business lines while adding value to the Company's risk management practices. The Banking & Investment Portfolio Liquidity Team's responsibilities are multifaceted and cover the largest sources and uses of liquidity at the Company. The team partners with the LOBs, broader Corporate Treasury, and the second and third lines of defense. The Senior Analyst will focus on liquidity analysis, stress testing scenario design and model development, as well as the design and calibration of liquidity risk limits and early warning indicators.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide complex financial analysis and research in support of liquidity planning with a focus on banking products (deposits, debt, etc.), including intercompany transactions
  • Identify and implement solutions related to complex liquidity requirements and contribute to ongoing strategic decisions within Corporate Treasury
  • Evaluate and refine stress test assumptions and methodologies as appropriate in the Company's ILST, Resolution and Recovery scenarios, which are inclusive of idiosyncratic and market stress conditions
  • Refine and recalibrate liquidity risk limits and early warning indicators, keeping abreast of existing and new liquidity risks
  • Model owner, responsible for enhancing assumptions and methodologies, leading the implementation of changes into the Company's stress test results, developing controls and key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining documentation
  • Continually evolve the Company's ILST scenario design, considering scenarios inclusive of idiosyncratic and market stress, potential interim risks (e.g., inflation), and changes to the Company's business profile
  • Create presentation materials and maintain documentation suitable for Committees, the Board of Directors, and Regulators
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing models for liquidity stress testing, including model governance
  • Advanced technical skills in MS office suite and SQL
  • Knowledge and understanding of liquidity management, forecasting, and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior
  • Prior experience with regulatory compliance
