About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualification:
  • Monitoring and Oversight of the Business Resiliency & Continuity Planning Program compliance activities within Wells Fargo Technology.
  • Identifying and reporting key risk issues through TRDR risk reporting to stakeholders
  • Develop reports using data from the system of record (ORS and ERS)
  • Provide Support to Business Resiliency Officers by following up with Business Resiliency Coordinators/Managers on outstanding issues, including but not limited to Plan Reviews, scheduled Exercise and Maintenance (E & M) activities, Risk Assessments (RA), past due E&Ms, follow-up tasks and/or RA Action Plans, Aggregate RTO gaps, etc.
  • Execute control reporting procedures on a pre-defined schedule to produce reporting and escalation emails to Plan Owners, Resiliency Leads and Platform Teams.
  • Produce and submit bulk import requests for mass system updates.
  • Monitor the team's shared mailbox daily and reply to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Required qualifications:
  • Strong Technology experience
  • 2+ years of Business Continuity (BC) Planning/IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desired qualifications:
  • 2+ year of BC planning experience
  • Very strong Excel data analysis, reporting and data manipulation skills (e.g., creation of Pivot tables, Macros, VLOOKUP, and other advanced Excel functions)
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to deliver concise, time critical information to our internal team and management
  • Familiarity with banking and financial industry business practices
Job Expectations:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Communications, Computer Science, or similar fields.
  • Wells Fargo Internal BCP Certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo Corporate Business Continuity Program and Operational Resiliency System.
  • CBCP/CBCI or other industry recognized BC/DR certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow
