About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Personal Lending area.


In this role, you will:

  • Document test cases and risk research and create test plans
  • Record test progress and results
  • Identify and track issues throughout testing
  • Perform manual and automated testing
  • Consult with users providing advice and direction
  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
  • Research system features being tested
  • Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy
  • Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of financial services experience
  • 4 + years of test planning and executing experience in systems such as: ALM and JIRA
  • 4 plus years' experience with Agile
  • Excellent knowledge of automation on non-UI functionalities
  • Excellent experience leading and testing features via tools for mobile devices
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of quality assurance/testing strategies
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as production validation of technology systems in operations support
  • Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
  • Experience taking initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Technical troubleshooting or root cause analysis experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Job Expectations:
  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance of one of the locations listed on the posting
