About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Strategy & Planning Consultant to join the Strategic Programs & Process Improvement leadership team which reports to the Chief Administration Office (CAO) of Wells Fargo and ultimately resides in the Chief Operating Office (COO). The Strategic Programs and Process Improvement teams works across Wells Fargo on high-priority, strategic initiatives such as but not limited to:

  • Merger, acquisition, and divestiture transitions
  • Efficiency and effectiveness
  • Workforce and Location Strategy
  • COVID-Return to Office response
The team brings together groups with expertise in strategy, problem solving, process reengineering, and driving large, complex programs to completion.

In this role, you will:
  • Execute strategic initiatives and programs at the direction of the CAO, COO and CEO.
  • Provide strategic consulting services and thought leadership utilizing comprehensive, in-depth knowledge, expertise, and emerging industry trends.
  • Partner with senior management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy and create/execute corresponding business plans and initiatives.
  • Creating structure to ambiguity, building, and driving rigorous frameworks to solve complex problems
  • Make decisions in complex situations that influence and lead the broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Communicate clearly and concisely and distill complex data and concepts into succinct messaging and presentations.
  • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in a consulting firm or similar experience
  • Strategy & Planning background / experience
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strategic, "outside the box" thinking and the ability to quickly and effectively ramp up on unfamiliar topics
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $206,100.00
