About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Global Branch Expansion development team within Technology. The principal purpose of the Global Branch Expansion initiative is to establish Wells Fargo as the choice provider of international banking services for commercial customers across the globe. By targeting strategic global markets - both developed and emerging - Wells Fargo is expanding its global branch footprint, and aim is to provide our customers with a consistent and competitive range of products and services, including credit products, foreign exchange, trade services and treasury management capabilities. As part of this role, you will be part of a wider international development team that is spread across in locations across the US, India and EMEA regions.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of experience with Flexcube
  • 4+ years of Corporate Banking experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM).
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of L3 support experience with Oracle Suite of Products
  • 2+ years of experience in Design & development in MVC architecture by leveraging Spring Boot, web services, APIGEE etc. Have developed and implemented JAVA based application.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to write clear design documentation and articulate the same with various global stake holders.
  • Automation development for banking domain modules like Core banking, international payments, Liquidity management.
  • Skilled in the product functionalities - Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Term Deposits, Integration Gateway and Core module.
  • Familiar with infrastructure planning and related tools
  • Automated Testing approach for Unit Testing & Integrated Testing using Cucumber, Selenium, Junit, JMeter etc.
  • Automation development for banking domain modules like Core banking, international payments, Liquidity management.
  • Experience in Cloud enablement / Cloud based application and Microservices based product/application
  • Development experience with Core Java, J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, spring boot and spring
  • Middleware and OS experience (Unix, Microservices, Web Services, WebLogic, JMS and MQ)
  • DevOps (CI/CD) and Automation of Build & Deployment
  • Automated testing using Selenium or Cucumber.
