About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Release or Automation or Software Engineering experience, or equivalent.

    • 4+ years of Automation Experience with Ansible (preferred), Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or Robotics Process Automation platform.

    • 4+ years Linux experience.

    • 4+ years programming experience with scripting languages. Polyglot scripting experience (must be fluent in at least two of the following: bash, python, Perl, ruby).

    • 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps toolchains/automation to achieve CICD, Blue-Green deployments, feature toggles (Git, Jenkins, uDeploy).

    • 4+ years with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban.

    • 4+ years with two or more of Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or SPLUNK, AppDynamics or Dynatrace.

    • Detail oriented self-starter capable of working independently.

    • Experience in AIOPS: Big Panda, Moogsoft, Artificial Intelligence (Al) and Machine Learning (ML) Framework.

    • Experience with private or public cloud technology.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to document and design proposals.

    • Expert in writing software packaging and deploying into a fully automated environment.

    • Experience in creating Elastic dashboards.

    • Experience in Service Now.
Job Expectations:
  • Experience with Cloud, AIML, AIOPS Technologies.
  • Experience with Tableau/ MicroStrategy or similar BI tools
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Primary Skillset : DevOps, Shell Scripting and Python Scripting

    Secondary Skillset : Ansible
    , Knowledge on tools like Grafana & Prometheus.
