About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Scrum Master

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non projects, or maintenance work
  • Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
  • Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • •Scrum Master certification from either Scrum Org or Scrum alliance.
    • SAFE Certification
    Experience of up to 4+ years in the Agile world.
Job Expectations:
  • Establish and manage end-to-end delivery plans for initiatives/projects spanning multiple teams, lines of business and vendors. Orchestrate the overall delivery through incremental releases to test environments and production.
  • Partner closely with both our Product and Technology leaders for coordination across teams, lines of business and external vendors for on time delivery.
  • Manage risks, impediments, dependencies, within and across Line of Business and external/co-supplier/vendor teams.
  • Drive improvements into our release and delivery processes.
  • Provide status report to stakeholders and leadership with context on delivery, delivery slips and impacts to timelines.
  • Track and manage Product Area capacity, identify capacity shortfalls and partner with Product and Engineering Leads to ensure roadmap aligns with capacity.
  • Facilitate Feature reviews, architecture reviews, DDD sessions, impact assessment and design calls with impacted teams.
  • Partner with Tech/Business/Product stakeholders to ensure that all scaled agile events are setup.
  • Organize/plan/facilitate Scaled Agile Events such as Feature refinement, Discovery/design sessions, Defect Triage, Scrum of scrum etc.
  • Partner with other Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters to track release readiness/code deployments for key initiative milestones: eg integration testing, UAT, pre-PPV, PPV and Production.
  • Actively participate on production bridges during major milestones (production launch, migration etc) to help coordinate technology issues, defects etc to ensure smooth launch. Help facilitate any RCA and required corrective actions related to production issues.
  • Artifacts you will produce and own: JIRA dashboards and JIRA Roadmaps to track delivery, defects, impediments and dependencies, JIRA hygiene dashboards, capacity vs demand views, executive reports, release reports and metrics.
