The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.

The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., is hiring for the position of Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization. Be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs. Learn business operations and processes. Take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change. Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas. Use knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management. Use verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Modeling concepts, familiarity with model implementation and production, and model governance. Implement risk management concepts, audit, and controls. Use key regulatory compliance risk components, including experience driving consistency and quality across all aspects of a risk function, including a solid understanding of process controls. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field. Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving risk analytics.

Specific Skills Required:

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Python

• Knowledge of Shared Risk Platform reporting and issue management

• Knowledge of the banking and finance industry including risk report, analytics, and controls

• Experience with risk management concepts, audit, and controls

• Experience with financial forecasting including knowledge and loss modeling and related mathematical theory and concepts.
