About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Enterprise Risk Aggregation (ERA) team within the Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) group - a unit within Corporate Credit Risk. The ERA team is responsible for aggregation of the firm's financial risk data and producing regulatory and corporate reports and dashboards. This role focuses on data operations functions such as data sourcing and data quality monitoring, data reconciliation, system adjustments, data defects, and more. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and performing data operations activities related to key risk reports. This role will perform daily risk report monitoring including reviewing and acting upon results of data quality checks. This role will create test scripts and conduct User Acceptance Testing of reports and tools for technology releases.

In this role, you will:
- Perform data operations activities for the Enterprise Risk Aggregation (ERA) team including data aggregation, preparation, and validation in support of regulatory and corporate report production.
- Develop ERA data subject matter expertise including data sourcing, transformation, definitions, metadata and lineage, table structures, hierarchies, system adjustments, data quality controls, data defect remediation, and more.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with upstream data sources, business users, and technology teams to partner on BAU change management and data projects.
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide, including Risk, Finance, Technology, Control Management, and LOBs.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries to extract data from ERA databases.
- Perform in-depth data analytics and provide results to internal stakeholders.
- Operate in full compliance with policies and procedures.
- Engage with internal audit and other independent review teams.
- Lead or participate in complex projects and initiatives.
- Analyze complex data aggregation and reporting.
- Resolve data, reporting, and production system issues to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and compliance requirements.
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 4+ years SQL experience (preferably expertise with Teradata).
- Prior Risk Analytics, Data Operations, and Regulatory Reporting experience within the banking industry.
- Experience working across Risk (Credit, Counterparty, and Market), Finance, and Basel domains.
- Knowledge of Single-Counterparty Credit Limits regulation and reporting.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx applications.
- Experience validating and reconciling financial risk data.
- Experience with issue and/or data defect management process.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
