Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation is responsible for aggregating credit risk exposure across the company to aid in many use cases including - Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, and analytics. The Credit Risk Regulatory Reporting (CRRR) team manages data provider and report preparer processes for several regulatory reporting schedules, including FRY 14 and Basel.
Wells Fargo is seeking three Senior Risk Analytics Consultants to join Regulatory Reporting Governance and Defect Management team within the Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) group - a unit within Corporate Credit Risk.
These roles will contribute to critical initiatives for the company, including to enhance, manage, and govern data management and reporting processes for credit risk regulatory reporting. This includes ensuring compliance with policy requirements, assisting with defect management processes, helping self-identify, manage, and close issues, performing quality assurance over reporting requirements, and contributing to reporting governance routines across both Consumer and Commercial reporting schedules. These individuals will leverage their experience and knowledge of credit risk reporting and data, business functions and products, and risk and control practices to contribute to the Credit Risk Regulatory Reporting Governance and Defect Management team.

These positions will be responsible for helping govern external reporting requirements and ensuring fully documented work products and processes. Your leadership skills are essential to managing deadlines, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continued enhancement of credit risk reporting. Strong partnership skills are needed to foster and facilitate relationships with colleagues across multiple locations to provide an integrated and comprehensive picture of the bank's credit risk.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the data defect and issue management process, including monitoring resolution of data errors (root cause analysis, remediation design, testing, and implementation) and ensuring control gaps/breaks are resolved through the issue management process. This will include partnering with reporting production teams and contributing to and reviewing defect and issue deliverables.
- Perform quality assurance assessments and/or testing of reporting activities, including reporting logic and appropriate selection of data.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring strategic, analytical, inductive thinking, and performance monitoring.
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide, including Credit Risk, Finance, Control Management, and LOBs.
- Solve problems using data and business knowledge.
- Analyze the impact of changes to reporting requirements.
- Enhance data and reporting processes and controls that are impactful to managing the accuracy and completeness of our reporting.
- Review work of others and provide value-added feedback. Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and other issues.
- Present to senior management and key stakeholders.
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Background in Regulatory Reporting such as FR-Y14M/Q or Basel and data management.
- Experience with data governance frameworks, including documentation of procedures, process controls, and data/information sources and flow.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with issue and/or data defect management processes.
- Strong process design and management skills including control assessment and key performance tracking.
- Ability to lead and execute on complex projects performing assigned tasks independently from start to finish.
- Proven communication skills with the ability to influence, develop, partner, and collaborate at all levels within the organization.
- Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools, including SQL/SAS programming.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Knowledge and experience with Alteryx.
- Ability to decompose complex issues, understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks, and drive to timely decisions.
- Excellent collaboration skills with successful history of executive change management projects/programs.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
