This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

This role supports workstreams across Public Affairs Technology. Public Affairs Technology provides technology to the Public Affairs division of Wells Fargo, which is responsible for Communications, Brand Management, Corporate Video Services, Enterprise Meetings & Events, Sustainability, Social Media Management, Government Relations, Philanthropy, and Community Relations.

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer (Senior Software Engineer) who enjoys and thrives on solving complex problems through innovation impacting change at scale in a diverse environment. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker, passionate technologist and expert in modern software development technologies, APIs and web services.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables by applying core development principles, practices, and procedures to the development of various type of applications within technical domain environments
  • Deliver innovative yet practical solutions to the organization with a heavy focus on event driven and loosely coupled design patterns to enable a fully-integrated, real-time processing through APIs and web services to support future customer-facing capabilities
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to communicate ideas and resolve technical challenges to achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years experience with .NET development
  • 4+ years experience with MS SQL Server
  • 3+ years of experience developing and consuming RESTful services
  • 2+ years of ETL development experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud-hosted databases
Desired Qualifications:
  • B.S./B.A. degree or higher
  • Strong, clear and concise verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Hands-on experience in System Testing and Development on Data warehouse applications using Ab Initio, DB2, Unix & Teradata
  • Experience integrating and securing applications in Azure cloud environment
  • Experience working with APIGEE
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
  • 1+ year of experience with Angular
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing, such as the creation of FSDs, test scripts, test plans, and test execution
  • Experience facilitating meetings with participants at various levels of experience in different lines of business

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
