About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant that helps support critical digital and print customer deepening acquisition marketing campaigns for the Small & Business Banking (SBB) Marketing Team. The role will be responsible for driving incremental business checking growth and customer profitability across business customers. The main priority of the role is the development and implementation of the marketing plan by promoting Wells Fargo deposit accounts to small business owners via mail, email and online banking advertising. The role will collaborate closely with the external creative agency, internal marketing channel managers, and the marketing science team.

The role will support end to end acquisition/deepening marketing campaign management for SBB inclusive of defining target audience, creative development, channels, special offers and optimizing and enhancing the campaign. The role will partner closely with cross-functional partners to promote Wells Fargo Business Banking deposit accounts managing timelines and following the detailed campaign process.

This role is critical in helping SBB deliver on new deposit customer growth and deepening while driving opportunities to scale, improve customer experience and profitability.

This person must be influential in leading campaign resources, both internal and external, while also being able to partner and communicate effectively with other marketing leaders and partners across marketing and other lines of business.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage marketing campaigns, primarily with direct marketing channels (mail, email, on-us and branch) that promote Wells Fargo Small and Business Banking deposit accounts that acquire new business banking customers in our branches and on Wellsfargo.com.
  • Partner closely directing data analysts, channel managers, creative designers, banker readiness, legal, compliance and operations employees on campaign development, execution and ongoing optimization of the multi-million dollar acquisition marketing budget with the objective of achieving the customer and campaign acquisition goals and ROI objectives.
  • Track macro-economic trends, small business environment, competitor strategies, promotions, pricing, and recommend pivots in the bank's campaign strategy and test/learn agenda.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Science Team and Lead Marketing Consultant to forecast campaign results, test/learn agenda and business cases, and publish campaign reporting packages that record the financial performance of the marketing investment.
  • Provide ongoing performance updates to Head of Small and Business Banking Deepening Marketing, Marketing Executives, CSBB CMO and SBB leadership team.
  • Ideate for breakthrough marketing concepts and creative that will improve response rates and lower the campaign cost per account.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven success in refining/optimizing campaign execution, including pivots in customer targeting, offer selection, creative execution, and messaging
  • Knowledge of business banking products, retail banking, and/or small business customer segment
  • Analytical understanding of marketing campaigns, A/B testing, incremental lift, Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI)
  • Campaign management and execution experience, ideally within in Aprimo or similar campaign management tool
  • Ability to direct creative teams to develop marketing campaign assets
  • Must be able to successfully navigate a matrixed environment Highly collaborative and can effectively lead a cross-functional team including both internal and external (agency) partners
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in retail banking, preferably Small & Business Banking

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$73,100.00 - $155,900.00
