About This Role:
The Chief Technology Office (CTO) supports and delivers enterprise infrastructure and tech for tech services that enable Wells Fargo customers globally. CTO is undergoing a major transformation in the way we deliver services, including new cloud modeled data centers, new and modern development tools, adoption of a product operating model based on agile principles, and a customer-center frictionless delivery approach. To support this transformation, Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultant, aligning to both Strategy, Transformation, and Business Services (STBS) and Risk Strategy Execution and Governance (RSEG) organizations, to enable business services functions. You will report directly to CTO Business Services Technology Director and will partner closely with CTO shared service teams (HR, Finance, Workforce, Communication).

In This Role, You Will:
- Serve as a strategic advisor in support of STBS and RSEG
- Create dynamic presentation materials for Operating Committee members and internal and external stakeholders which effectively tell a story using data, graphics, and executive level verbiage
- Understand and distill complex technical initiatives and concepts into business language
- Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to influence technology matters to develop programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple lines of business or the enterprise
- Provide support to key initiatives which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities and technology to develop executable strategies and plans
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions related to technology matters that are large scale, cross functional, or companywide
- Engage with the technology team and more experienced leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes
- Work closely with STBS and RSEG leaders to develop, prioritize, organize, and structure the right conversation with business and technology executives to drive business strategies
- Lead staff meetings by proactively managing the agenda and tracking key action items
- Manage and lead business service functions: staff meeting agenda and facilitation; annual performance objectives and goal setting; business management reporting (QBR/TBR); budget oversight, EI planning and tracking; leadership meeting and event management
- Drive continuous business service process improvements and create business service deliverables that are best-in-class and reflect elevated, strategic thinking in an analytics-driven business environment
- 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience summarizing and presenting to management key technology concepts & technology approaches, and driving action items
- 5+ years of strategy and planning experience
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into business language
- Highly experienced in framing executive conversational, presentations, and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of issues, corrective actions, and appropriate methods of response
- Possess understanding of technology risk framework along with classification of information (e.g., confidential, restricted)
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
