About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Risk Transformation & Execution (RTE) team. The successful candidate will leverage knowledge of WF data environments to help propose and deliver solutions supporting Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) remediation work, as well as work closely with other senior leaders across Independent Risk Management, Corporate Functions, and Front Line in the development and execution of strategic and risk management priorities. Critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships and influence positive outcomes with many business and functional areas and provide execution excellence for risk management.

In this role, you will:
  • Partner closely with first line (line of business financial crimes leaders, operations, data management, technology, and control teams) and second line (compliance, financial crimes, and risk) to develop comprehensive data utilities and solutions that drive for consistency while advocating for thoughtful, intentional business nuances
  • Lead the requirements design for small and large data initiatives supporting highly complex and unique BSA/AML challenges focused on implementing cross-functional integrated data solutions
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership
  • Partner with technology on functional systems design documentation
  • Establish partnership with lines of business data and technology teams to resolve roadblocks and develop comprehensive solutions
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational
  • Lead team meetings or steering forums, as needed, to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 7+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ years of banking industry experience
  • Prior experience working within the BSA/AML and Sanctions
  • Breadth of banking product experience - include data environments on the consumer and commercial sides of the bank
  • Experience pulling and aggregating data from multiple sources
  • Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Significant experience designing and leading large-scale cross-enterprise initiatives
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with strategic business focus and vision with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Superior business consulting and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to both think strategically and act tactically
  • Ability to manage effectively within a matrixed organization
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Ability to strategically review situations, and diagnose opportunities and interventions
Job Expectations:
  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This is not a remote position.
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
