Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager responsible for growing fee revenue in a sustainable way, through new, innovative products or services that our customers find valuable and help solve critical pain points. This role is on the Deposit Based Services team, responsible for developing strategic product value propositions, experiences, and go-to market strategies that drive customer and balance growth with high customer satisfaction. In this role, you will:

  • Develop new ways to grow fee revenue through products and services
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align strategy with overall business objectives
  • Lead the design and development of new revenue-generating initiatives
  • Engage with other Deposit Product teams, technology, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer experience
  • Set an achieve financial targets for the P&L
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to monitor product performance and identify areas of improvement
  • Develop pricing strategies and conduct competitive analyses to maintain a competitive edge
  • Serve as an adept advisor to leadership

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Financial product management experience - banking experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, specifically fee-based
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to banking products
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high impact presentations to senior leaders that leverages data to convey a meaningful story
  • Detail oriented with solid analytics and insights skills and the ability to synthesize data to make decisions
  • Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: development of roadmaps, strategies, and management of products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Self-starter with high energy and motivation who works well independently and can lead cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners
  • Strong sense of urgency and results oriented with the ability to motivate teams and mobilize resources
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, vision, operational and execution skills
  • Proven ability to influence, educate and advocate for an idea or vision and gain alignment
  • Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve problems
  • Comfortable working with a wide variety of corporate executives, channels, marketing, operations, and other business partners
  • Strong ability to assess market and competitive conditions and to develop creative, break-through approaches supporting improved customer experiences and operational efficiencies.
  • Exceptional organization, coordination, and time management skills
  • High level of proficiency with data, analysis, metrics and financials to identify opportunities or understand problems
