About this role:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Lead Product Manager to join its Personal Lending team as part of Consumer Lending. The Personal Lending team is responsible for Personal Loans, Flex Loans and Point of Sale Financing. The Pricing Strategy and Competitive Analysis role drives our personal loans pricing strategies and cross product risk-based pricing strategies. This individual contributor will be working closely with the pricing analytics team to design strategies, test plans and capabilities for pricing that meet and exceed our portfolio financial performance metrics.

In this role you will:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies appropriate to changing market conditions
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities
  • Monitor and evolve the personal lending customer pricing approach, partnering closely with finance analytics, finance and credit risk
  • Design new test strategies, applying any cross-product learnings
  • Define the pricing capabilities roadmap and work with product development team on requirements to implement
  • Oversee pricing change execution process and ensure adherence to controls
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5 + years of Pricing, credit risk or finance experience in financial services industry
  • Experience designing, monitoring and evaluating new testing strategies in credit and/or pricing, with the ability to identify learnings
  • Knowledge of consumer lending products and P&Ls
  • Knowledge and understanding of credit risk management
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behaviors
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Product development and Pricing execution teams to implement and execute testing strategies
  • Strong and dynamic presentation skills, with experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence without authority within a matrixed and ambiguous environment
  • Good analysis, tracking and trending skills and familiarity with statistical modeling
  • Master's Degree, MBA or higher preferred
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range:
  • New York - New York Pay Range: 133,300.00 - 237,100.00 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
