About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Marketing Consultant to lead digital acquisitions strategies for Premier Checking. This is a new role within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) Growth Marketing organization, who are responsible for driving new customer and balance growth profitably via effective, integrated marketing strategies. This high-visibility role is critical in helping CSBB deliver new customer growth and increasing our share of wallet across our footprint.

In this product marketing role, the Sr. Lead Marketing Consultant will drive prospect and customer acquisition strategies to drive account and deposit growth via acquisitions, upgrades, and cross-sell strategies. The ideal candidate is highly quantitative, curious and collaborative with an innate performance mindset. This person must have experiences in performance management, a proven record of driving growth in digital, managing marketing technology projects, launching new channels of distribution, and a test & learn mindset.

In this role, you will
  • Lead marketing strategy across offers, targeting, distribution channels, martech capabilities while partnering with various cross-functional groups across the bank including Brand, Product, Consumer segments, Digital technology, Channel owners (Paid, owned, digital, and in-branch).
  • Act as a thought leader - Define Marketing Strategy for Premier Checking Acquisition, Upgrades and Cross-sell.
  • Co-lead annual budget planning, performance forecasts, and expense management.
  • Partner across the bank including brand, product, finance, lines of business, technology to create a growth plan and cohesive customers experiences.
  • Review campaign results to make data-driven decisions to improve marketing performance, identify best practice learnings, and scalable ideas.
  • Package new ideas, learnings, insights and present information in a way that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead forums to communicate program goals, strategy, performance levers to partners and leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Performance marketing, product acquisition marketing, or management consulting
  • Financial Services Industry experience
  • Proven record in digital acquisitions via offers, targeting, distribution channels, martech capabilities, and creative optimizations
  • Ability to build a test and learn agenda through business case creation and stakeholder prioritization
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently; must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

Salary Range:
  • New York City-Pay Range: $111,100- $237,100 annually
Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus.
