Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to serve as a Merchant Services Audit and Assessment Testing Lead in Merchant Services as part of Consumer Lending.

In this role, you will:
- Lead cross functional/virtual business teams to strategize, plan and execute audits, exams and other testing across all functional groups within Merchant Services
- Support and execute pre-planning through control reviews, procedures, policies for upcoming audits, testing and exams
- Report on themes and trends as outcomes from the actual audits, exams and testing.
- Understand/analyze major requirements (regulation and state laws), business controls, policies and procedures, and be able to understand a wide variety of business processes and translate requests for information from auditor or examiners.
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
- Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
- Develop metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.

- 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Audit, Risk Management or Business Oversight
- Knowledge and understanding regulations, specifically consumer, commercial and Merchant Services
- Experience creating and presenting reporting and status updates to various audiences, including senior leaders
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects or business initiatives
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Strong understanding of merchant services or other business payment products
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
- Ability to research, analyze, document, and present organizational metrics that drive business decisions
- Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
