About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into insights using dashboards and recommendations to improve efficiency
- Lead complex initiatives by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques and business processes to make actionable insights, and recommendations to automating control requirements
- Perform analysis of understanding business processes and translating those into data technical expertise and documenting those process
- Understand Independent Testing and Validation reporting requirements for multiple testing teams and develop comprehensive reports
- Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions to automate manual business processes
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and various levels of management to drive recommendations and strategies based on data driven, analytical insights, trends, and patterns that will resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor.
- Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
- Write/code SQL, Python and BI tools and use advanced data mining capabilities to retrieve, join and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Manipulate and process large datasets using the analytical and reporting features of multiple BI and Data Management tools

- 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of advanced analytics experience to build and deliver dashboards, tools, quantitative analyses, and advanced modeling that diagnose root cause issues and translate data into actionable insights using SQL, Python (Pandas) and SAS
- Develop and automate data and analytics solutions, and iteratively build and prototype new reporting to provide insights at scale using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI and SAS Viya
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources and ability to effectively integrate them for business needs
- Ensure proper data security is in place for all reporting
- Experience in risk management preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry, including compliance, risk management, and/or audit operations
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Strong analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to research trends and analyze data
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives
- Critical thinking and analytical skills

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
