Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Sales Practices & Conduct Management.
Sales Practices & Conduct Management (SPCM)
SPCM is a front-line operation responsible for ensuring employees act ethically on behalf of Wells Fargo and are consistently doing what's right for customers and each other. The group provides enterprise-wide conduct functions, including the Ethics program, the Insider Threat Program, and Enterprise Investigations, to support the company in managing conduct-related concerns. SPCM is part of the Chief Operations Office (COO).
Conduct Analytics & Reporting (CAR)
CAR is responsible for providing actionable information through (1) the identification of emerging risks, themes, and trends, (2) day-to-day operational analytics and reporting; (3) executive analytics and reporting; and (4) risk, regulatory and audit analytics and reporting.
CAR is looking for data and analytics SME to join our "Data Enablement" team.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, data mapping and metadata in support of data and analytics initiatives and in line with audit requirements. Deliver in a fast-paced environment with focus on completeness, clarity and accuracy while managing risk.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the requirements design and elicitation for small and large data initiatives
- Build functional systems design documentation
- Document data elements, mapping and metrics for traceability/lineage and use in reports
- Document and maintain metadata
- Prepare specifications for system changes
- Create documentation for training, help resolve questions and recommend changes
- Establish partnership with insights and reporting teams, lines of business, technology and allegation management teams.
- Communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats
- Self-direct and lead others to complete multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
- Be a strong influencer and consensus builder with a positive attitude, who motivates self and others
- Collaborate across people, processes, and technology/tools within a highly intensive and complex data environment
- Be comfortable presenting and tailoring communication approaches based on the audience
- 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of business systems analysis experience
- 5+ years of data warehouse experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years of banking industry experience
- 2+ years of SAS experience
- 2+ years of Linux experience
- 1+ years of project management experience
- Experience with Agile project methodologies
- Experience leveraging Jira tools for workflow and productivity
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
