About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Product Management Consultant in Consumer Data Products team as part of Consumer Data and Analytics and Artificial Intelligence group. You will serve as a senior business analyst managing one or multiple workstreams to define and implement frameworks in support of data strategy for Consumer Data Products.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as Product data analyst in transformational projects such as data and use case migration to cloud, data center exits, etc.
- Build a repeatable playbook for Consumer data asset migration based on Enterprise Data Strategy to simplify our data environment and modernize our infrastructure
- Work with Consumer line of business teams to define requirements for use cases that can be migrated to cloud
- Communicate use case business value, cloud capabilities and overall cloud roadmap to leadership and different stakeholder teams in non-technical terms
- Define foundational capabilities that are required for use case execution in GCP (test data management, production support, data ingress/egress, etc.)
- Understand on-prem capabilities that exist in current state (metadata capture, data quality, etc.) and determine how they will extend to cloud
- Collaborate with Consumer data technology and central GCP cloud platform team to prioritize delivery of foundational capabilities (entitlements, environments, folders, DLP scans, controls, etc.)
- Showcase good understanding of native cloud capabilities and products/services and provide guidance to team/management
- Lead or participate in moderately complex data product initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning related to driving data enablement and capabilities across multiple platforms and utilities
- Review and analyze moderately complex data product challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors to drive data enablement strategies and roadmaps
- Independently resolve moderately complex data product issues and lead team to meet data product deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners that impact prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms, resolve data product issues, and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
- Provide input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes
- Manage moderately complex datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance and standards
- Create and maintain data product roadmaps and documentation throughout the data product life cycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
- Serve as a liaison between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture teams throughout the data product life cycle

- 4+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of data strategy, data transformation and/or cloud transformation experience
- 3+ years of data product management consulting and Agile delivery experience
- 3+ years of project experience demonstrating excellent SQL, data profiling and reporting skills
- 1+ year of project experience delivering different types of use cases (on-prem and/or cloud)
- Expertise in banking data sets such as products, accounts, customers, transactions, etc. Consumer Banking experience a plus
- Partner with team members in dispersed geographies and time zones
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
