We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Research Consultant. In this role you'll be at the forefront of protecting the organizations from emerging cyber threats, with a focus on mitigation, threat analysis and advanced detection technologies. You will leverage tools like Splunk to identify patterns, investigate threats and develop strategies to safeguard the system.

You will conduct in depth research on the evolving threat landscape, including emerging vulnerabilities. You'll work with cross functional teams, providing technical expertise and actionable insights to enhance our cyber defense posture. This role needs a strategic thinker who can balance hands on technical analysis wit the ability to communicate findings effectively.

The ideal candidate is passionate about cyber, highly analytical and driven to solve complex challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of complex computer network security and protection technologies for company information and network systems and applications

• Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensue conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards

• Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives

• Review and analyze advanced computer security incident response activities and technical investigations of information security related incidents or breach related activates

• Perform tests on networking devices, appliance products and web based application

• Implement and develop Monitoring and Alerting techniques and tools

• Perform security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies and adherence to best practices

• Provide guidance and leadership to more experienced Information Security Engineers and act as a mentor for these engineers interested in penetration testing and offensive security

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Cyber Security Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of Cyber Security tools such as SIEM and SOARs

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
