About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to join our Wells Fargo Executive Compensation and Human Resources Mergers & Acquisitions Team. The team supports Wells Fargo and its employees through strategic consultation, compensation and related process execution, program and vendor management and administration, and effective risk governance and issue and control management. The Senior Compensation Consultant will provide credible strategic and tactical consultation and support in support of Wells Fargo and its talent, performance, compliance, and risk needs. The role will have the opportunity to help identify opportunities, solve problems, address challenges, and produce meaningful outcomes for our Company, employees, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
- Advise and consult on a variety of in scope compensation activities:
- Equity administration.
- Long-term cash and deferred compensation administration.
- Special deals, including administration of legacy agreements, programs, and other arrangements
- Lead and participate in a variety of compensation-related projects and initiatives at the enterprise and line of business levels.
- Consult with business leaders on in scope activities, opportunities to transform our business, and promote and advance our risk and control work.
- Consult with managers and partner groups regarding current and future needs, ensuring our work reflects the needs of the business, our people, and key stakeholders, including regulators.
- Consult with active and former executives and employees on their topics of interest as directed by subject matter experts with the Executive Compensation Team.
- Research and provide compensation or program analytics to support decision making, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Engage with vendors on operational issues or opportunities.
- Resolve moderately complex compensation issues and work with a team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Represent Executive Compensation department on enterprise project teams.
- Help transform our business processes, technology, and performance.
- 4+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to self-manage, self-prioritize, and quickly learn new things.
- Experience partnering effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders, including vendors.
- Ability to effectively use facts and data to identify issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.
- Solid consultation skills with the ability to seek out information and provide quality advice.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
- Ability to create and improve processes and controls through strategic thinking.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint experience.
- Basic knowledge of one or more of equity administration, long-term cash and deferred compensation administration, and executive benefits.
- BS/BA degree or higher or relevant military experience.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
