About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant for the Wells Fargo Auto Strategic Reporting Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights that support business decisions by developing reports and ad hoc request to support RCSA management decisions, controls, customer redress, and regulatory needs.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action.
- Lead the design and implementation of reports, dashboards.
- Use advanced programming skills in SQL to write, modify, and test data extraction used in reports.
- Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence tools (SRSS, Power BI, Tableau)
- Perform data discovery and investigation to ensure that the data meets the business objectives.
- Collaborate with the technology team to implement and automate the reports.
- Leverage a solid understanding of data structures, domain specific knowledge, and the end-user experience to impact the final data visualization product, which includes dashboards, reports, insights, or analyses

- 4+ years of business intelligence and data visualization experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- SQL demonstrated programming skills with the ability to manipulate volumes of data.
- Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence tools (SRSS, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
- Experience with Wells Fargo Auto data and business systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Problem solving, critical thinking and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and location.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
