About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant (Macro Strategy team)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
  • Working with an industry leading and experienced Macro Strategy team
  • Work closely with US and Singapore-based senior analysts
  • Get significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of a front office team
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
  • Support lead analysts on thematic and country-specific research on global FX and fixed income markets
  • Build econometric and financial models for analyzing thematic macro and market topics
  • Summarize key deliverables and build data visualization to support content creation by senior analysts
  • Create and maintain global macro and market databases from a variety of sources including Bloomberg, Macrobond, national central banks and statistical agencies.
  • Work independently on complex projects under the supervision of senior analysts to deliver high quality outcomes
  • No of days working from office in a week: 3 out of 5 currently.
  • Shift followed: Flexible, however 4-5 hours of overlap with US teams required
  • Work location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Outstanding academic qualifications - MBA / master's in finance from a premier educational institution / CFA / CA
  • Minimum of 4+ years of Sell side/Buy side Research experience, experience in fixed income markets
  • The candidate must be flexible to switch sectors as per business needs
Job Expectations:
  • Strong knowledge of financial and macroeconomic concepts
  • Ability to read through financial reports, news, investor presentations, and transcripts and identify key information
  • Competence in using key databases - Bloomberg, Macrobond etc. Previous experience in accessing data from national central banks and statistical agencies,.
  • Econometric modeling: Experience in time series analysis, panel data models, dynamic factor models, Kalman filters, machine learning etc.
  • Financial Modeling: Experience in fixed income markets, back testing, portfolio construction etc.
  • Ability to proficiently program using Python for analysis and data visualization
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Applications - Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint ability.
  • Strong Writing Skills: Ability to summarize project deliverables
  • Sufficient proficiency in English and ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders globally
