About this role:

The Senior Business Execution Consultant, reporting to the Auto Business Execution Sr. Manager will collaborate with a strategic partner's Sales organization in driving sales effectiveness, in adherence to Wells Fargo's policies and procedures.

The role will work closely with various business partners to evaluate strategic processes, and ensure clear communication and proper execution on behalf of Wells Fargo Auto. The role will evaluate the ongoing development needs of the Sales team members including the development and deployment of ongoing training and coaching materials. This role will support and provide the appropriate guidance around sales risk related issues included but not limited Wells Fargo's policies and procedures, Risk & Control Self-Assessments, issue management and working with Auto Controls and other key partners to ensure the proper management of risk activities. In this role, you will:
  • Act as lead and point of contact for varied areas of focus and responsibility across the Relationship Management Strategy & Support team; for example, communications, support strategic partner education, data analysis, policy & procedure updates, etc.
  • Act as lead on strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by Relationship Management Strategy & Support Senior Manager.
  • Participate cross-functionally within internal workgroups on behalf of the Auto Strategic Alliances and Relationship Management organization to ensure effectiveness and impact.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity and propose solutions and strategies for improvement.
  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of the business.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
  • Serve as a mentor for the strategic partner's sales team and other key partners.
The Senior Business Execution Consultant will act as a partner to various business partners to:
  • Collaborate and identify strategic partner opportunities; address areas of concern and develop market specific strategies for maximizing dealer relationships.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommend action plans to upper management.
  • Support the training and development of the strategic partner's sales team for all products and services related to Wells Fargo Auto credit products to ensure adherence to Wells Fargo policies.
  • Perform joint strategy calls to the strategic partner to ensure they are in accordance with Wells Fargo Auto policy and guidelines.
  • Analyze sales statistics, market opportunities and competition with internal and external key partners to ensure proper allocation of business development resources.
  • Ensure strategic partner has thorough and up to date information about Wells Fargo Auto products and programs; and immediately notify of changes as they occur.
  • Support Wells Fargo Auto General Manager and Brand Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Indirect auto lending experience, with a financial bank or a captive auto lender
  • Current, extensive knowledge and use of Wells Fargo Auto's policy and procedures
  • Prior experience in a dealer-facing sales/relationship management role is desired
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly analytical and adept at using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to draw conclusions to tell the story
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution abilities
  • Ability to form a story through data analysis
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed, while also working cross-collaboratively
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise and clear fashion, deliver effective presentations with clear storytelling
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Selected candidate must be flexible to work all time zones or as business dictates
