About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Accountability Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns
  • Assess, analyze, and design moderately complex controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
  • Independently make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to address current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance or support in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
  • Partner with peers and the business in interactions with external parties to support appropriateness and timeliness of response, and effectiveness of communications and materials
  • May serve as a mentor for lower-level staff

  • 4+ years of Risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of Group Business Process Management methodologies and approach to Level 3 process documentation and control mapping
  • Familiarity of preventative maintenance routines to support 24x7 critical facilities operations.
  • The ability to operate effectively within a decentralized geographically dispersed matrixed organization.
  • A performance record of superior judgment and maturity working within a collaborative matrix organization.
  • Proven relationship management skills and the ability to rapidly establish and leverage key working relationships with vendors and companion/partnering organizations.
Job Expectations:
  • Up to 15% travel may be required.
  • Ability to understand plans and strategies of technology partners and translate into data center requirements.
  • Track industry trends in the areas of controls and business framework for data center operations and develop strategies to enable data center management teams to support future requirements.
  • Leadership experience
  • Must be capable of making sound decisions in the absence of detailed instruction and maintain management policies, standards and guidelines designed to protect our most valuable IT assets.
  • Portrays maturity within the team by taking initiative in seeking solutions and proactively resolving potential issues. Capable of providing strategic guidance to internal platform planning, implementation teams and vendors.
  • Inspires the cooperation and confidence of others and effectively uses influence to insure quality planning, accurate forecasting and strategic focus.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and sets an example for others.
  • Resolves conflict without management intervention using diplomatic and relationship building principles.
  • Deploys "slight edge" principles to continuously improve the team's performance and deliverables and fosters the development of new ideas.

  • The Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Center Services (EDCS) Compliance and Process Management (CPM) team is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining current process, procedure and control documentation of the EDCS Operating model. Engages regularly with Process Owner as a Subject Matter Expert of aligned business processes, documentation, control alignment, self-assurance testing, Data Center Services performance reporting. The Senior Business Accountability Specialist is accountable to monitor and self-assure that process and controls are operating as intended for operational risk and audit examinations. Actively participates in cross functional teams to regularly review business process documentation for service maturity and automation opportunities. Will need to maintain a highly collaborative relationship with all DCM Functional Managers and associated Subject Matter Experts, Corporate Security, Corporate Properties, Group Business Process Management Office, Operational Risk Management and Wells Fargo Audit services. This position reports directly to the DCM Compliance, Process and Service Manager.
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
