About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to join the Multifamily Capital team within Commercial Real Estate/CIB supporting the origination, screening, underwriting, closing and asset management of multifamily loans under the programs of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, HUD and FHA.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare and deliver monthly CREFC investor reports to Master Servicers
- Gather, validate, and deliver data to investors according to investor guidelines and servicing agreements
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting, adhering to deadlines
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with investor guidelines
- Investigate discrepancies and exceptions in investor reporting
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes
- Provide support and documentation during compliance reviews
- Prepare and deliver manual borrower billing statements for various specialized loan structures
- Collaborate and bill 3rd party fees associated with certain loan structures
- Provide overall support to team members and management
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- Interpret and understand data contained in loan documents and associated calculations.
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned and/or required.

- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Familiarity with mortgage loan software and GSE servicing platforms
- Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
- Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
- Advanced Excel skills desirable
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong accounting reconciliation skills
- Strong document interpretation in commercial loan documents
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in other areas of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Ability to work in one of the posted locations

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
