About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Research Manager
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of analysts in the Global Research and Economics Group supporting Wells Fargo Securities
- Engage and influence partners across the investment groups and companywide to help establish investment strategy
- Research direction of industries, markets and companies
- Serve as an active individual contributor often working on the most important and complex coverage
- Identify and recommend opportunities for partnering to establish investment strategy initiatives
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve investment process and risk controls
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding client services, regulatory issues, and internal audit
- Prioritize projects to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop controls and procedures for analytics and reporting
- Collaborate and manage with teams to ensure investment performance
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Securities Investment Research
- Mentor and guide talent development of teams and assist in hiring talent

- 4+ years of Securities Research industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- 12+ years of Invesment Banking experience, preferably in FIG/REGAL/Banks
- 2+ Years of Staffing experience
- Hiring and mentoring new joiners in the FIG IB and CBG teams
- Prepare and execute training plans for both IB and CBG campus and lateral hires
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities for Hyderabad location
- Share timely feedback and employee ratings and be part of appraisal process
- Manage senior stakeholder connections and build new relationships for business growth
