Wells Fargo is seeking Securities Operations Associate Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of portfolio strategies, coordinating between portfolio managers, operations teams, and clients to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with investment objectives.
  • Manage a team of specialists in transactional tasks ensuring quality and compliance in securities operations
  • Provide support for being a first point of contact for all delivery tasks and escalations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Ensure team consistently meets delivery expectations and resolve issues related to reporting, career path and related activities for direct reports.
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for securities operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

1. Portfolio Implementation & Oversight
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of new portfolios, restructures, and reallocations.
  • Ensure that portfolios align with client investment strategies and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact between portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
2. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead a team of portfolio implementation analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve high performance.
  • Oversee training, onboarding, and ongoing skill development, ensuring team members are prepared for various scenarios.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, focused on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
3. Operational Efficiency
  • Develop and optimize implementation processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce errors.
  • Implement quality control measures, oversee reconciliation processes, and resolve operational issues effectively.
  • Coordinate with technology teams to enhance or implement tools that support portfolio implementation tasks.
4. Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Collaborate with clients, portfolio managers, and internal teams to understand requirements and objectives.
  • Communicate implementation updates, address client inquiries, and provide insights on portfolio adjustments.
  • Present implementation reports and metrics to leadership, contributing to strategic discussions.
5. Risk Management & Compliance
  • Ensure that all portfolio changes comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess potential risks, implementing measures to mitigate these within the implementation process.
  • Coordinate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure robust controls.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 1+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of overall experience in Trade settlements/Middle office functions and 2+ years of Leadership experience.
  • Shift Timings:- 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM IST
