About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Director, responsible for data integrity, data aggregation, analysis, and interpretation in support of the monitoring and oversight of the credit portfolio for Small and Business Banking. This includes partnering with other Credit Risk Directors to design and implement innovative and automated solutions to manage credit risk. Delivers insights and decision strategies to maximize profits and/or asset growth, mitigate credit risk, manage operating losses and other risk exposures.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of less experienced managers and professionals with focus on delivering highly complex risk reporting and analytical capabilities to ensure current and future needs are identified and addressed companywide
- Identify opportunities and strategies for modeling, forecasting, reporting, data distribution, process improvement, and risk control development
- Provide leadership and governance to the identification and transformation of data into actionable information that drives business outcomes
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding data aggregation, strategies, resources, and operations of risk analytics to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop risk policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within Analytics and Reporting
- Recommend strategies and actions to be considered by management relative to high risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, peers, and managers including more experienced leadership
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Risk Analytics
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

- 8+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experience
- Prior lending and risk management experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment, including leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and experience influencing stakeholders
- Experience in Financial Service Institutions or Fintech related companies
- Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques/decision sciences to answer complex questions by leveraging a wide array of risk and business data
- Translate highly complex analysis into simple/actionable insights and create compelling stories in power point for effective decision making

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
