About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Resiliency Officer in Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) Business & Customer Resiliency team. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at www.wellsfargo.com .

This role will also provide expert input and facilitation and ensure resiliency actions are executed on behalf of the Resiliency Lead. This is a critical role to ensure accurate and complete business continuity planning is in alignment with the Enterprise Resiliency Framework and increase our company's organizational resiliency. The position facilitates analysis and consistency in reporting, implementation, and communication. The candidate will need to possess leadership and critical/strategic thinking capabilities and have risk management experience, with a focus on Business Continuity Resiliency and Planning. The candidate must demonstrate familiarity with resiliency concepts and industry standards, including how to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor resiliency-related risks.

In this role, you will:
  • Communicate resiliency requirements set forth by Enterprise Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning and provide guidance and interpretation of the requirements to Business Resiliency Managers and Business Resiliency Coordinators
  • Work with the Business Resiliency Managers and Business Resiliency Coordinators to ensure plan data including, Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, recovery strategies and dependencies are documented appropriately, maintained, and in alignment with EBCRP requirements
  • Monitor the completion and documentation of all required Exercise and Maintenance activities annually and ensure all requirements are met
  • Ensure continuity plans exist for all active business functions and all production technology components. In addition, ensure timely updates are made to the plans as changes occur within the organization
  • Attend and engage in Enterprise related meetings and training, and tailor to meet business needs. Provide training and/or job aid material to support Business Resiliency Managers and Business Resiliency Coordinators
  • Serve in the capacity of subject matter expert regarding EBCRP policy requirements in support of the Business Resiliency Managers and Business Resiliency Coordinators
  • Support Business Resiliency Managers and leadership during incidents. Participate in incident response activities for the business, including assessment calls, business communications, impact determination, and monitoring of remediation activities
  • Use advanced BCP reporting skills to identify, understand and address material deficiencies and weaknesses. Assist with regulatory/audit exam reporting duties, as applicable
  • Escalate emerging risks to business management, Resiliency Lead, and Enterprise Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning
  • Act as a primary resource for Business Resiliency Coordinators on quality review/assessment findings
  • Provide functional exercise support to ensure adequate participation in integrated exercises and large-scale walkthroughs as required. Track any open deficiencies to resolution
  • Stay current with BRDR certification and have a thorough understanding of the Enterprise Guidebook and all the associated updates
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business, technology, and cyber resiliency concepts
  • Maintain engagement between the business and technology organizations to strengthen and enhance resiliency
  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of business continuity planning experience
  • 1+ year of experience with Wells Fargo Internal Business Continuity Plan BCP Central Reporting system and Operational Resiliency System
  • Experience influencing leadership in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to meet deadlines with quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across a large number of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in an adaptable environment
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills

New York - New York Pay Range: $115,900 - $206,100 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
